And with Holiday Train Nights for all ages making spirits bright on December 26, 27, and 28, kids and kids at heart can keep the holiday celebration going with an after-dark viewing of the show in all its twinkling beauty.

One of the BEST ways to see the Holiday Train Show is to hop aboard the @teaaroundtownnyc bus! ☕️🫖

On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays through January 20, reserve a spot and catch the bus at Central Park South for a leisurely ride up to the Garden featuring delicious treats, teas of all sorts—and of course an appearance by Santa and an elf riding along. Once here, you’ll get to explore the Holiday Train Show and stop by NYBG Shop to cross some gifts off your list before the return trip.

As the trees drop their leaves and winter comes in for a landing, the Garden becomes even more of a birder's paradise. 🪶🌲

The bare branches make visiting and resident birds MUCH easier to spot as they go about their daily errands in the canopy. This is all to say: don't forget your binoculars if you've got 'em!
